The Group of Seven Reimagined: Contemporary Stories Inspired by Historic Canadian Paintings

I wrote my first flash fiction piece “Sombreness Sunlit” Nina’s first flash fiction piece for the anthology curated by Karen Schauber, The Group of Seven Reimagined: Contemporary Stories Inspired by Historic Canadian Paintings (Heritage House, Victoria, BC, 2019). “Sombreness Sunlit” is a reflection on Emily Carr’s painting of the same name.

It was nominated for The Journey Prize that was announced in August 2020.
