At the end of 2018, I completed the manuscript for “Tree Legacy: Purposeful Wandering among the Historical, Ornamental, and Native Trees of Vancouver’s Stanley Park.” It’s a history of the trees of Stanley Park, Vancouver’s world-famous, 405 hectare park. Heritage House Publishing of Victoria, British Columbia, will be publishing it in Spring 2020. I can’t wait! It will be filled with high definition coloured pictures.

Meanwhile, I have a flash fiction piece coming out in an anthology soon.

You guessed it! I find the activity of writing addictive and compelling. With all the writing and editing I’ve been doing lately, I have been ignoring my Whole Health on Purpose newsletter. More on the way!

I wrote my first book in the 1970s, Cattle Ranch: The Story of the Douglas Lake Cattle Company. It’s a history of Canada’s largest cattle ranch, Douglas Lake Ranch in the Nicola Valley of British Columbia.

I was a founding member of the Kamloops chapter of the Canadian Authors Association and now I’m delighted to be a professional member of the Canadian Authors Association – Metro Vancouver chapter.
