First, let us remember the fallen, wherever, whenever, however they fell. I’m reminded of some of the last lines in
Rebel Women, my most recent play. They were written by Mrs. Pankhurst in 1914, one hundred years ago:
The militancy of men through all the centuries has drenched the world with blood and, for these deeds of horror and destruction, men have been rewarded with monuments, with great songs, and epics. The militancy of women has harmed no human life save the lives of those who fought the battle of righteousness. Time alone will reveal what reward will be allotted to the women.

And life goes on.
As this post says, today – November 11, 2014 – is a Triple 11 Day. Now, I’m beginning to sound like the astro-numerologist that I follow,
Tania Gabrielle, because that’s the sort of numerological event that she points out, that November 11, 2014 is a Triple 11 Day.
As an 11 day and an 11 month, November 11, 2014 also adds up to 11 (1+1+1+1+2+0+1+4=11).
Eleven offers us choices, whether to go through what may be difficult but directly ahead, or to walk around and avoid the challenge. Be prepared to walk through the pillars of choice today and make the right choices. Let us make the choice of peace today in all that we do.
