What Brings You Joy?

By nature, most of us are joy seekers, but we don’t automatically know what brings us joy. jam-428094__180It happens perhaps too fleetingly to notice what triggers joy.

For one person it might be giving a friend a jar of homemade jam; for another it might be dirt biking with two buddies; for yet another it might be picking up her kids at daycare at the end of the day—their eager little faces warming her heart.

Singing in community is one of the ways I feel joy in my heart.

The other day I was at a City Soul Choir rehearsal, enjoying the singing so much, and recognizing that heart-filling joy. A fullness. I looked around and knew again, “Singing in community brings me such joy” and I relaxed into the feeling, letting it expand, and enjoyed the joy even more, purposefully.

When I came home, I posted about City Soul Choir’s upcoming concert on Facebook, because I wanted to share the joy I had felt.

The concert itself might not be what brings you joy.

Do you know, really know, what brings you joy?

Can you follow your passion to bring more of that joy into your life?

In my book Trust the Mystery: Questions, Quotes, and Quantum Wisdom, and in my newsletter, “Creating Life on Purpose,” I offer many ways of figuring out how to know your purpose and how to connect that purpose with what brings you joy.

I would love to help you find your joy.
