Ross Waddell and Dr. Marylene Kyriazis–co-founders of the Canadian Centre for Death Education–are organizing “An Evening of Stories About Things That Die” at Stanley Park on the evening of Monday, August 25. This first Death Picnic will run from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Bring a picnic and a blanket and a chair each, so you can eat and then hear all the stories.
Ross and I share the leadership of the Vancouver Chapter of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies); actually he does way more than I do! So he is going to talk about the Near-Death Experience.
And I’m going to talk about “Death as Mystery and Stepping Stone.” I’ll explore how my path has changed, because of the death of people I have known and loved in my life.
We are just two of the many speakers who will be sharing their stories that evening.
I hope you’ll be there.
