As always, I have umpteen books on the go. One I’ve just finished is Gary E. Schwartz’s The Afterlife Experiments.
Rather than requiring proof of the afterlife myself, I read this book so that I have a reference for solidly researched proof of the afterlife to offer to others. Since 1999, Gary Schwartz, Ph.D., has carried out numerous experiments between sitters and mediums in which the mediums never see and, for a period of time, do not hear the sitters’ voices, and still what they say about their departed loved ones is highly accurate.
By the end of the book, Schwartz seems willing to accept that the living soul hypothesis is grounded in reality. He goes to great lengths to explain how he has reached that conclusion and these lengths might help others to reach the same conclusion.
He also writes about how we might live our lives if we were to accept that our souls are eternal. As he and many others including Blaise Pascal would agree, if we live our lives as though our souls are eternal, we will live kinder, more heart-centred lives that acknowledge that everything we do affects ourselves, everyone else, and everything on our beautiful planet Earth. So let’s make our actions with love and consideration.
Thanks, Gary, for creating this great reference work.
